I cut my scary pumpkin face SVG file in cardstock with my Cricut Maker using 'intricate cardstock' setting - I used Sizzix 'Surfacez' cardstock for the top black layer and Cricut cardstock (Jewel tones pack) for the orange and yellow layers.

If you wanted to cut it and layer it up in vinyl for your Halloween decorations, it's ideal for that too.
