What Will Change?

This course won’t turn you into a botanical illustrator.

It will help you become someone who notices.

You may find yourself:

• Pausing instead of rushing

• Listening instead of scrolling

• Seeing details you’ve walked past for years

• Feeling steadier in your own thoughts

• Turning to your journal instead of your phone

Over time, this practice becomes more than drawing...

It becomes:

A ritual, a rhythm...

A quiet anchor in your week.

And once you’ve built that rhythm, it stays with you.

Nature Journal Course - a different way of feeling connected with natureLessons aren't just about drawing, they're about connecting you with nature

A Gentle Note on Imperfection

You will not create perfect pages.

You may create messy ones.

Simple ones, sparse ones...

Unexpected ones.

That is the point.

Your journal is not for display - it is for living in.

Meet your guide

I’m Lotti Brown, an artist and nature journaler from Yorkshire.

For years I chased perfection in my sketchbooks until I realised that joy comes not from the perfect picture, but from the process of noticing.

Now I create art and teach others to rediscover that joy for themselves through nature journaling.

After training as a Nature Journaling Educator with the Wild Wonder Foundation, I’ve designed 'Imperfect Nature Journaling' to be a gentle, creative way to reconnect with the world of nature right outside your window.

FAQs

Do I need to be good at drawing?

Not at all. This course is designed for beginners and returning creatives alike. Drawing here is about noticing - not perfection. Simple sketches are more than enough.

What if I don’t know much about nature?

That’s completely fine. You don’t need to identify species or know scientific names. Curiosity is all you need. I’ll gently guide you in how to observe and, if you wish, how to research.

How long does the course take?

Each lesson takes around 20-45 minutes and there are 20 lessons, but there’s no schedule. You can move through it slowly over weeks or months, or dip in and out as you wish.

Is this an online video course?

No - this is a thoughtfully designed 20-lesson PDF course. It’s quiet, self-paced, and screen-light. You can print it or keep it digitally and work in your own journal.

Will I receive lifetime access?

Yes. Once purchased, the course is yours to download so you can revisit whenever you need it.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Yes. Although the price is listed in GBP (£) you will be able to pay the equivalent in your own currency.
