Mum & Mom Card SVG Templates

Mum & Mom card SVG templates for card making with Cricut or other cutting machines - you can even make your card by hand!

I created a pair of pretty, floral, papercut card templates - one with 'Mum' and one with 'Mom' - the templates would be perfect as Mother's Day cards, but also for Mum or Mom's birthday too...

• The two card templates are sold separately, so you just need to choose between the two spellings.

• The papercut templates come in SVG, DXF, EPS & PNG formats, suitable for most cutting machines (I do my test cuts on a Cricut Maker) and also for cutting by hand (PNG format).

• The digital template includes the complete card and envelope - with the intricate cut outer card, the inner card inside, and the envelope.

• You will need to use the cut and score functions on your cutting machine - if you're a Cricut user, I have some help with that for you, just here... That also includes some details of how to score manually if you don't have a scoring tool, and which scoring tool to choose for your Cricut, too.

• I have a craft tutorial to help you with folding and assembling the card here - don't worry, it's super easy!

• And you will be able to use your 'Mum' or 'Mom' card SVG template for personal use (gifting to your mum/mom) or if you're a small craft business, you can sell the cards you make (license terms are on the product listing or here)

You can make the Mom and Mum cards in whichever colour card you prefer, or whichever you think your mum/mom will love best!

I made the pretty pale blue Mum card with my own mum in mind, as she loves blue and white.

This cardstock for the outer cards (the pretty bit) is all textured solid-core cardstock from Sizzix (one of my favourite cardstocks) - the card I used for the inner card and envelope is a lighter-weight, smooth card (a generic craft card 160gsm) which is better for writing on.

When you're choosing your own cardstock colours, try and get some good contrast between the colours of inner and outer card - have one lighter and one darker for the best effect - but make sure the colours complement each other nicely too.

I like to do the envelope in a third colour (which also helps keep things clear for you on your template) - but if you'd like a plain white envelope, or a matching one, or a wildly different one, then go for it!

The floral patterns on the cards are all hand-drawn by me - with pen and paper, then scanned into the computer and digitised in Adobe Illustrator to make the Mum and Mom card SVG templates.
