Floral Heart SVG Designs
Flowers are one of my all-time favourite things to draw - so I loved drawing these floral heart SVG designs - and I was excited to finally get to make them into SVGs and see how they looked cut in cardstock.
Floral drawings - the two designs from this page are on the right-hand side of the photo
I originally envisaged them as a single-layer design - but once I'd made them, I just couldn't resist adding some layers to make them multi-coloured and even more beautiful!
If you just want a simple, single layer design, you can certainly use just the intricate top layer - I think they'd look beautiful as a papercut, in a light wood, or in vinyl - you could also create a stencil for paints, engraving or pyrography gel - get your craft on!

'Ditsy' floral heart template - single layer
You can also use all three of the layers to get a multicolour look - or just two if you prefer...
'Swirly' floral heart cut in cardstock - showing all three layers
'Swirly' floral heart design - two layers and alternate colour idea
'Ditsy' floral heart template - all three layers
'Ditsy' floral heart template - two layers (alternate colour idea)
I wanted to make the designs very versatile so that you could use them in different ways, that suit your own personal craft project.
I want to introduce you to both designs in more detail, now (below), so that you can get to know them a bit better and decide which would suit your project best - I've also got some colour ideas that I hope will inspire you for your own crafting...
There are two designs (available separately) - they're both floral heart SVG designs, so to distinguish them, I've called them:
- 'Swirly' floral heart template (design 01)
- 'Ditsy' floral heart template (design 02)
See them both below - I'm showing you just the top layer to make the difference in design easier to see...

DITSY floral heart - design 02
I'm going to share more photos of both designs in the two sections below - but before I do so, just some more info about both of the designs and the photos that I'm sharing:
- I made these both from Sizzix 'Surfacez' textured cardstock (all layers and colours)
- I used my Cricut Maker cutting machine to cut the templates
- I used the 'Cardstock for Intricate Cuts' setting in Cricut Design Space
I'll start with the 'Swirly floral heart design just below - if you just want to see the 'Ditsy' one, you can find it in the section just below that...
