These are the gay versions of this romantic engagement SVG template for a man and woman.

Gay Engagement Shadow Box Templates

I wanted to make lesbian and gay versions of my 'Happily Ever After' romantic engagement shadow box template - so here they are - a version for two women and one for two men.

It's a romantic, fairytale-like scene, in the forest, hence the 'Happily Ever After' wording, which makes it the perfect shadow box design for a newly engaged couple. It's also great for anniversaries, weddings, and other romantic occasions (proposals, anyone?)...

The instructions for these two versions are just the same as for the man and woman version that you'll find here - so I've included them all on the same page - you can find that here. That page is pretty long already, so I've created this page just to feature the gay engagement shadow box versions so that you can get to know them a bit better...

And also to get inspired by the different colours that I've tried out for each of the different versions, so that you can create your own colourful (or not so colourful) versions and have lots of fun with your colour choices.

The version for two women...

I made this pretty blue and red design my template for the gay women engagement shadow box - I think it looks lovely and very romantic with the red hearts. These colours are the ones that come inside the template version for two women.

I also tried an alternate colour version for you - that's got cream/soft white with black and then pastel tones (pink and lemon)...

Gay Men Engagement Shadow Box Template

The version for two men...

Gay men engagement shadow box template (2 men version)

These are the colours I decided on for the gay men version of the engagement shadow box template (2-men version) - lovely rich greens, combined with blue and yellow with the figures standing out in soft white/palest grey.

I think the colours really evoke the forest and nature and are perfect for this woodland scene. These are the colours which are included in the gay men version of the template...

I also tried out a colour idea in taupes, greys, and yellow - which gives a more subtle and minimalist look to the project, I think.
