Wildlife Art Prints

By Lotti Brown

British wildlife art prints by Lotti Brown - a colourful and contemporary celebration of British nature...

These are some of my favourite wildlife artworks from my earlier artwork series - all created using my own drawings of animals and plants, then carefully scanned into the computer to use the Adobe Illustrator software program to create a composition digitally.

My wildlife artworks are still available as fine art prints, both framed and unframed in a variety of sizes, also as posters, plus mugs, bedding, cushions, shower curtains, T-shirts, notebooks, aprons, bags, jigsaws and lots more...

We're so lucky to be able to see hares every Spring in the fields around where we live in Yorkshire - often 'boxing' which is apparently female hares fending off over-amorous males! To see them run across the field is amazing - they wouldn't be mistaken for a rabbit, rather they look like a tiny deer as they run. Check out my handsome Summer Hare in my Redbubble store here...

I think more foxes live in urban areas than rural areas now. Even so, there is a little fox family who do live out in the fields behind our house. One year, I was lucky enough to catch the little fox cubs out playing. We often see the adult fox slinking away through the hedgerows, though, often early in the morning. Check out my beautiful Ferny Fox in my Redbubble store here...

Are you lucky enough to see hedgehogs in your garden? We've only recently started seeing one in the garden, which I was thrilled about. We've often seen them while walking through the village on dark autumm evenings, though, and heard them snuffling through the undergrowth. Here's a sweet little hedgehog to remind you of crisp autumn days and happy hedgehogs - check her out in my Redbubble store here...

This beautiful badger celebrates the badgers that I used to see often from the school bus in Wales, playing in a field - such a treat that I didn't really appreciate until I was an adult and discovered for myself how rare it is to actually see badgers. Mr Badger is walking through autumn toadstools that I found in a forest in Scotland - check him out in my Redbubble store here...

We do sometimes get to see a glimpse of a gorgeous russet stoat, out in the fields - and once we found evidence that one (or maybe more) had lived inside our garage over winter! Amazing - and we had no idea! Take a look at my stoat wildlife art prints and other products in my Redbubble store here...

I don't live in an area of the UK that has red squirrels, unfortunately, but one of my favourite holiday destinations in Scotland does have them, so I get to go to the red squirrel spotting hide and wait for them to turn up for their nuts - they look so small and dainty compared to the grey squirrels I'm used to. Such an exciting treat! Check out my red squirrel art in my Redbubble store here...

This otter artwork is in celebration of my favourite childhood film, 'Ring of Bright Water' - the story of Gavin Maxwell's life in wild Scotland with his 'pet' otter Mij. I've only once seen a wild otter, on the shoreline on the beautiful Isle of Islay in Scotland - amazing! Love my otter in my Redbubble store here...

The field behind where I live is probably overrun with rabbits (according to the local farmers) but I love to see the little bunnies hopping about every morning. I call this one the Dandy Rabbit, as he's with lots of dandelions, as I know rabbits like to eat dandelion leaves. Check out my rabbit artwork in my Redbubble store here...
