Welcome

Whether you’re here to choose an art print for your home, explore my nature journaling resources, or browse my designs on other platforms, I hope this FAQ helps you find exactly what you need.

If you can’t see your question here, please feel free to contact me - I’m always happy to help.

Art Prints & My Folksy Shop

Where can I buy your new art prints?

All my current hand-drawn British wildlife and folklore-inspired art prints are available in my Folksy shop, professionally printed on beautiful eco-friendly bamboo paper and packaged with care from my Yorkshire cottage.

Do you ship outside the UK?

At the moment, my Folksy shop ships within the UK only. This is because Folksy doesn’t support the dropshipping option I use for international orders.

If you live outside the UK, I’m very happy to arrange an international purchase - just contact me and I’ll organise it via Etsy.

How are your art prints made?

Each print is produced using:

  • Archival bamboo fine art paper (Hahnemühle Certified)
  • Pigment-based inks
  • A printer that is a Fine Art Trade Guild member

Your print has museum-quality longevity and a soft, velvety texture that suits my hand-drawn artwork beautifully.

How will my order be packaged?

I package each print by hand using:

  • A recycled, acid-free backing board
  • A protective acid-free glassine envelope
  • Acid-free tissue wrapping
  • A rigid large-letter recycled envelope (clearly marked Please Do Not Bend)

Everything is plastic-free, recyclable, and chosen to feel like a little moment of magic when you open it.

International dropshipped orders:

  • Acid-free tissue paper
  • Cardboard stiffeners
  • Plastic-free, recyclable bag made from sugar cane

All recyclable and plastic-free.

How long will my order take to arrive?

I usually post within 3-5 business days, using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your parcel is on its way.

International orders will take longer as they are printed to order, and delivery may take up to 7 working days or even longer if delayed.

Are the prints signed?

Yes - each print is signed on the front in pencil.

International orders are dropshipped from my printer, so will be unsigned.

My Art & Products Elsewhere

Where else can I find your work?

You can find a curated selection of my earlier artwork on:

These platforms hold my older collections and surface pattern designs.

My new artwork is sold exclusively through my Folksy shop.

Are the older artworks still available?

Yes! None of my art has been discontinued - they simply live in my Earlier Works section and are still available to purchase via print-on-demand or licensed partners.

About the Art & Creative Process

Do you draw everything by hand?

Yes - every artwork is created as a hand-drawn pen and coloured pencil drawing.

Earlier artworks all began as hand-drawn and/or hand-painted pieces - I then scanned the drawings and refined the composition digitally to create the final piece.

Can I commission a custom artwork?

Not at the moment, but I may introduce limited bespoke work again in the future.
My newsletter subscribers will be the first to know.

Nature Journaling

Do you offer help for beginners?

Yes - I have a free PDF guide which you can download to help you get started with nature journaling.

I’ve also created a gentle, encouraging self-paced course called Imperfect Nature Journaling, with 20 creative exercises designed to help you notice more, draw more, and let go of perfection.

You can also get loads of tips, hints and ideas just in my nature journaling hub here...

Do I need to be good at drawing?

Not at all. My approach is rooted in curiosity, presence, and small joys, not perfection. If you can hold a pen, you’re ready.

Where can I find your nature journaling blog posts?

You can explore my monthly seasonal notes and drawing prompts in the Nature Journaling section of my site.

Folklore & Articles

Where can I read your folklore stories and research?

My Folklore Hub gathers everything together - British birds, animals, trees, seasonal traditions, and the legends connected to them.

Do you illustrate the folklore posts yourself?

Yes - every folklore article is paired with my own hand-drawn artwork or pages from my nature journal.
