This policy contains details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through my website or by telephone or email.
This policy does not create legally enforceable rights and obligations; it merely indicates usual practice in relation to the delivery of products.
I will usually be able to deliver to the following countries and territories: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Outside of these areas, please contact me for a quote on delivery charges.
Delivery methods and periods
As all artworks are printed and framed to order, my printer and framer will require a little over 1 week to custom make these for you. Custom pet portraits will require a longer period while I create the artwork for you, then send it to be printed and framed.
Delivery will usually be made to you directly from my printer and framer. My printers and framers use Royal Mail for smaller packages and a tracked courier service for larger packages. For delivery addresses on the United Kingdom mainland delivery will usually take between 1 and 3 days after despatch of your order.
The printing, framing and delivery periods set out above are indicative only, and whilst every effort will be made to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, delivery timescales cannot be guaranteed.
Delivery charges will be calculated by my website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process, or alternatively quoted by me.
Applicable delivery charges will depend upon the delivery method you select, the location of the delivery address, and the size and weight of the products in your order.
Tracking may be available on some courier-delivered packages. Where tracking is available and you have provided a mobile phone number, you will receive a text with the tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your order.
Receipt and signature
Courier-delivered packages may require a signature on delivery.
If your products remain undelivered despite the delivery service provider making at least 1 attempt to deliver them, the delivery service provider will leave a card at your address, with instructions on how you may collect your products, including a time limit for collection.
If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact me using the contact details that we publish on my website or otherwise notify to you.
If the delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from the delivery service provider within the relevant time limit, it may be possible to arrange for re-delivery of the products; however, I reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery even where the initial delivery was free of charge.
An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:
(a) you provided the wrong address for delivery;
(b) there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;
(c) the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;
(d) the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;
(e) if in-person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; or
(f) if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
