Course Terms & Conditions

By purchasing any course from you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Course Delivery

You acknowledge that the course will be delivered online via password-protected webpages.

Please do not share the passwords or access to the course or any of the downloads. It’s just for you.

  • While I will do my best to have the course content and services continuously online, sometimes, due to technical difficulties with the webhosts or other circumstances beyond my direct control, interruptions to the services may occur and you acknowledge that I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to your inability to access the course material or services.

  • You acknowledge that you will need to supply an email address so that Payhip can deliver your course access to you. You will also need good and reliable access to the internet to access the lessons, access to a PDF reader on your browser, plus access to a printer to print out images and instructions.

  • You acknowledge that you will also need various drawing tools and equipment. Please refer to the course page to see the list of requirements for the course.

  • You acknowledge that your purchase is for your own personal use only. If you are interested in taking the course as a group, please get in touch for group rates.

  • You acknowledge that once you’ve purchased the course, you have 14 days to change your mind. If you feel like the course is not for you, please get in touch promptly to request a refund.

  • You have lifetime access to the course. Lifetime access refers to availability for so long as the website and course exist. In the unlikely event that it closes, you will be given 60 days to print off and save what you need.

Course Feedback

(for the full version of the course only – not available for DIY version)

You acknowledge that:

  • If you’ve purchased the full version of the course (rather than the DIY version) you can ask questions, discuss the lessons, and upload photos of your drawings made as part of the course for feedback.

  • If you’d like to share your finished exercises when you’re done, for my feedback, you can also add these using the comments form at the end of each lesson. You can upload images of your drawings, so it’s helpful to have a camera handy to take photos of your work. Maximum size for image uploads is 2MB. Accepted file types are JPG/JPEG/PNG/GIF.

  • I’m afraid that I cannot give feedback about your artworks and drawings via email. Please use the forms at the bottom of the relevant lesson pages.

  • The comments forms are provided by Disqus. You will need to sign in to Disqus or create a Disqus account (for free) if you don’t already have one and will be prompted to do so to make your first comment. You will be able to upload your images as well as your comments to the section so that you can share photos of your drawings.

  • IMPORTANT: The pages of the course are private and password protected so that we can share our artwork in a private environment. The comments on these pages will not appear publicly so long as you set your Disqus profile to private (instructions to do this here…) but they will be able to be seen by anyone who has the password for this page (i.e. the other students on the course as well as future students to the course). If you leave your Disqus profile as public, anyone you’re connected to on Disqus will still be able to read your comments on this site.

  • I reserve the right to delete any inappropriate comments made in any of the course spaces to maintain a supportive environment for all students.

  • You give permission for any images you share in the feedback space to be used for my future course-related marketing or promotional strategies. You will always be credited and retain full rights to all your work.

  • You can read my full feedback and commenting policy here…

  • I will be checking into the course pages to answer your questions and give you feedback on your artwork on most week days (Monday to Friday) at some point during normal working hours (approximately 9am to 5pm UK time) - excepting for illnesses, emergencies, bank holidays and planned vacation time. I work away from the computer for long stretches of time, working on my own artwork, artwork for clients, writing content for my website and blog, and creating new course content for future courses for my students, so I won’t be here constantly within those times and I may not be able to answer your question right away. Please be patient and I will get to your comments and questions and help you as best I can. Please just enjoy some rest and relaxation, take a walk in nature, or practice your drawing some more while you wait for my response.

  • Feedback will be available for your drawings and artworks from the course for a full 12 months after you register.

Please note that while I’m very happy to provide detailed and helpful feedback on all of your artwork as part of this course and to work to help you to understand and implement the information in the lessons in your drawing, I’m sure that you will understand that it’s not possible to provide in-depth personal artistic coaching for you as part of the programme. If you feel like this is what you need, please ask me about my hourly coaching rate.
