I made this artwork on a dark winter's day to take me to a feeling of sunshine and summer - hope it can take you, too, on a journey through nature to sunny days...

My art is all hand-drawn with pens and pencils, and then put together digitally - here's how I made it...

My drawings are scanned into the computer and I import them into Adobe Illustrator where I then start to put them together into a composition...

I put the sunflower and butterfly onto a Celtic knotwork background which I had already drawn for another artwork and add a texture to the background
