I'm very excited that lots more Lotti Brown 'Moments' have arrived in the Momentful app this week - the Momentful app is a greetings app that allows you to send a special message to friends and family...
Make it loving, make it funny, make it caring, make it thoughtful... definitely make it personal. Momentful has all kinds of colourful and quirky little messages ready for you to send - ideal for when you're struggling to put it into words on your own or just want to send a virtual hug or giggle.
The new Lotti Brown Moments are now available and have a message for every occasion - all based around my artworks that the Momentful team have given some really cool tweaks to! There are even Moments with music! Check them out to see for yourself!
You can check out just a few of my new Momentful 'Moments' here...
To find my designs from within the Momentful app, use the 'search' function to access the 'browse artists' section, then find me by name, Lotti Brown. Meet the app here!
Have fun and spread some cheer!
Understanding Your Artistic Adventure...
Understand where you are in your own artistic adventure and start to make more meaningful art…
The aim of this page is to help you start to understand your own artistic journey.
This is important as an awareness of what you like, or don’t like, what attracts you, what you’re curious about can help you to make the right decision about what to focus on in your art…
So that you’re not wasting time drawing stuff that you’re not interested in, or developing techniques that don’t do it for you.
This will also make your art more enjoyable for you, more meaningful, and more fulfilling.
Perhaps there are particular subject matters, themes, or questions that you want to explore, things you’re curious about...
Something new and exciting for autumn 2021 - designs to help you with your craft and creative projects...
I've spent most of the summer enjoying exploring paper cutting, something I learnt initially at school and have revisited on and off since.
I now have a new Cricut 'Maker' machine which does the intricate cuts for me (no more slicing and dicing fingers with a craft knife!) so I've been learning how to adapt my drawings to designs to make the digital files that the machine can read. Here are some I made earlier!
Enjoy the ride! In this modern world, where we can have, and must have, everything faster, bigger, better, brighter, louder, overdosing on experience… these three words ‘enjoy the ride’ always seem to evoke a rollercoaster-like experience. Fast – adrenalin-pumping, thrill-filled, awesome – enjoy the ride…
Living life in the fast lane isn’t for everyone though. For me – and perhaps for you, too – the ride is more enjoyable at a slower pace...
Especially now, 18 months into the pandemic, I believe that by living 'slow' we can gain the respite and perspective we need to recover and heal - as it's been a difficult period for us all in some way, no matter our individual circumstances.
Whilst I do believe we shouldn’t waste whatever life-time has been allotted to us, I don’t, personally, think that life in the fast lane enables us to experience life to its fullest glories.
‘Slow’ is always seen as a poor cousin to the glorious ‘fast’ – but living life in the slow lane allows us to really appreciate and connect with what’s going on around us – whether it’s our significant relationships, or feeling a deeper connection with our natural world.
Living life in the slow lane is the artists’ way – taking a little more time to notice and connect with all the wonderful things that most people completely miss...
